Adlabs Launches Mobile Ticketing

PVR Cinemas launched mobile ticketing over a year ago; now, another cinema chain Adlabs has announced the launch of a mobile ticketing application. The app has been powered by Tagit, and requires GPRS to work. A confirmation of booking is sent to the user via SMS. Nothing in the release on how I can download and try it; could be that it’s the same application that Tagit did for PVR, which I’d reviewed here. Interestingly, the announcement comes a few days before the festive season of Diwali, when movies usually do well.
