Bhaskar Group Forms Digital Media Company; Pradyuman Maheshwari Editorial Head

Regional language media power house Bhaskar Group has hived off its digital media properties as a separate venture. The company, christened I Media Corp Ltd (IMCL), will be responsible for all the interactive properties of the Bhaskar Group, which includes the websites of Dainik Bhaskar and Divya Bhaskar, short code 4567, and also its recent acquisition Indiainfo.com, reports Exchange4Media.
R D Bhatnagar is the Business Head of IMCL, while the editorial operations will be headed by Pradyuman Maheshwari, a former blogger and currently a senior editor with the Bhaskar-Zee Group newspaper joint venture DNA. Maheshwari will take charge as Editor and Chief Content Officer of IMCL from March 12.
