Campaign India Launches Website

By Nikhil Pahwa - Mon 21 Apr 2008 10:46 PM PST

The Indian version of the Haymarket group publication Campaign went online earlier this month. Campaign India targets the advertising and marketing community, and the website competes with established players like Agencyfaqs and Exchange4Media. Anant Rangaswami, Editor of Campaign India, and deputy editor Bindu Nair Maitra lead the online team. [via Brand Republic]

The site also covers digital media, but there’s no India specific content there yet. Unlike other site, there are segment specific RSS feeds, which I quite like. The site has a job board, events listing, and polls. There’s also a blog by Rangaswamy - read his rant about the IPL. Campaign India, the magazine, is essentially a weekly, but the online space works differently - both readers and search engines prefer fresh content, updated daily (if not several times a day). By the looks of it the online version of Campaign India is being updated regularly, and thankfully, the site isn’t yet awash with advertisements.
