Canaan Partners Promotes Alok Mittal To Managing Director Post

Venture Capital firm Canaan Partners promoted its executive director Alok Mittal to the post of managing director, India. [via release] Mittal joined Canaan in March 2006 to launch the firm’s Indian office in New Delhi. He was instrumental in Canaan’s investments in matrimonial site BharatMatrimony and tech-support company iYogi. Mittal also sits on the boards of BharatMatrimony and iYogi.

What self promotion thru its own PR agency

Interesting that the promotion happened without showing any exits/ returns from the investments that were made - shows fairly bad on Cannan partners !
