By Nikhil Pahwa - Wed 07 Nov 2007 03:20 AM PST

-- After the T20 World Cup win, the sponsors for Cricket on TV may be back, but apparently the BCCI isn’t getting any sponsors for its website, reports Monsters & Critics. Almost six months after the first announcement to bid for their website (Minimum Guarantee of $50 million for four years), the BCCI has announced another bidding process. The winner isn’t declared yet, and the BCCI expects the website to be launched in 3-4 months.

-- ESPN owned Cricinfo, meanwhile, has launched a fantasy Cricket game for the ongoing India-Pakistan cricket series. Reminds me of SuperSelector on ESPN-STAR Sports...many years ago I’d finished in the top 25 (21st, I think) in one particular month, and bought a couple of cassettes (this and this) from Fabmall with the vouchers. As per the release, Cricinfo’s fantasy cricket has had over 35,000 participants, and the T20 games have witnessed has witnessed maximum participation. Prizes include an 8GM iPod Nano and a 160 GB iPod Classic

-- Kyazoonga, an online ticketing portal has tied up with Rajasthan Cricket association to sell tickets for the final One Day International between India and Pakistan in Jaipur on November 18. Kyazoonga is funded by a New York based hedge fund.
