Ezeego1.com Ties Up With redBus For Bus Tickets; Corrigendum

By Cerius Shah - Mon 26 May 2008 04:07 AM PST

Corrigendum: It had appeared to me (Nikhil Pahwa, Editor, contentSutra) that Ezeego1 had repositioned itself as a travel meta aggregator. The company informs us, and on checking we’ve verified that, Ezeego1 was launched as a travel Meta aggregator. It’s not a case of repositioning, and the error is regretted.

Original Story, published on 20 May 2008: Ezeego1.com has tied up with redBus.in to provide bus bookings on the site. The release quotes Charan Padmaraju, Co-founder redBus, stating “We noticed that there are many customers who fly to a particular destination and then take a Volvo bus to cover the last leg due to the lack of airport facilities in some towns.” Forward thinking considering a ticket sold is a ticket sold, regardless of where the referral comes from. Ezeego1 on the other hand has re-positioned itself as a travel meta-search site. The deal seems in line with its new found mindspace, apparently positioning itself independent of travel and tours company Cox&Kings, and opening up it’s gates to third party providers.

though ezeego looked promising due to its integration of all services.........but when i tried booking any car from it the result was no....so ezeego should watch out as collaboration with other taxi owners is a must to succed in this business...nd they can type up with sum1 like meru offering cars.....but at this time i was frustrated at their service

my experience with Ezeego1 is one of the worst since past one month i have not received my ticket refund after repeated reminders and calls. one of the worst customer care i have ever come across. My humble advice please be careful while booking tickets. they are not at all responsible.

    My experience with redbus.in .

I tried booking through their site and it ended up in error msg after paying them through online.  I tried their customer care number and for them sunday is holiday.. and no service.. I called them on monday ..told they get back to me with 2 min.. no response .. I called them after 1 hour.. same thing happend ,,, Iike that I called them 6-8 times ..

The worst experience I ever had from a sevice provider..

Actually they are using a 3rd party payment gateway service and they will give
the information after 1-3 days.. may be it will take 1 week also..

After 2 days they called me and told they recived my payment and they dont
have any seat for me. Best Service..!!

So take care while booking tickets from redbus.in .. you will end up in
    a error message.
