Indiagames Launches International Mobile Publishing And Development Arm

By Nikhil Pahwa - Wed 20 Jun 2007 07:27 PM PST

Game developer Indiagames has launched its international mobile publishing and development arm IG Fun LLC, looking to focus on Europe and America, as per a release. Indiagames has in the past partnered with the likes of New Line Cinema, NBC Universal, Hearst etc. IG Fun will distribute games across mobile operators, including the 3 Hutchison 3G group of carriers, AT&T, Telefonica, Vodafone, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and VIVO.
Since Indiagames is developing other games as well, and already has a Cricket based MMOG, I’m not sure of why they’ve established only a company for only mobile distribution.

Yes does sound wierd when they are good at publishing their games as Indiagames...strange happenings can take place in such bug companies.
