Industry Moves: Nokia India Sales Head Sunil Dutt Resigns, Plans Telecom Distribution Venture

Nokia’s director of sales Sunil Dutt resigned this month and has plans to start a retail and distribution venture for telecom devices and accessories, the Economic Times reports. The paper quoted sources as saying that Dutt, who has spent over six years in Nokia, put in his papers after he was handed over the charge of Nokia Indonesia. Bob McDougall, the managing director of Nokia,Thailand, could be taking on Dutt’s position. India is Nokia’s third largest territory, and they have two-thirds of this market, according to a Times of India report.
