Industry Moves Roundup: BT, GroupM, NDTV Convergence, Digital Today, DGM, MMT

-- British Telecommunications has appointed Sudhir Narang as the MD of the company’s India ops; he’ll report to BT (NYSE: BT) Asiapac President Allen Ma. More at IndianTelevision
-- Arvind Mahendu has joined Group M Interaction as Managing Partner, replacing former National Director Tushar Vyas who joined the startup Surewaves. Mahendru joins from Bharti Telecom, and has worked with STAR TV and Turner. More at Agencyfaqs.
-- Rajesh Kumar has been promoted to National Head of Sales for NDTV Convergence. He will report to Salil Kumar, COO-Business of NDTV Convergence. More at Television Point
-- Sameer Sikka has been appointed the National Sales Head of India Today Group Digital. He joins from Monster.com, where he was Sikka comes in from Monster.com where he was head of the North region. In his new role, Sameer Sikka will report to ITGD’s CEO Sanjoy Narayan
-- LD Sharma, Director - Search & Affiliate for DGM India has put in his papers. Sharma’s told ContentSutra that he plans to continue in the affiliate marketing space, but hasn’t divulged his future plans.
-- KN Anand has been appointed Vice President (Outbound Tourism) for online travel agent MakeMyTrip. He joins from Kuoni Travel India. More at the Hindu.
