Industry Moves: TV18 Elevates Sai Kumar To COO, BSNL Promotes Kuldeep Goyal To CMD

TV18’s Sai Kumar Takes on COO position:
TV18 has promoted its CEO of TV 18 Media Network, B Sai Kumar, to the post of COO for the entire group. As the COO, Kumar’s responsibilities will include the group’s internet arm Web 18, its news and data terminal business Newswire 18 and Home shop 18. Besides, he will also be involved in new ventures across the television and new media space while reporting to TV18 Group CEO Haresh Chawla. [via Indiantelevision.com]
BSNL names Kuldeep Goyal as CMD
State-run telecom operator BSNL named Kuldeep Goyal as chairman and managing director with effect from August 1 for a period of three years. Goyal, who was BSNL’s director for planning and new services and was responsible for BSNL’s expansion plans, takes over from A K Sinha who retired. [via Economic Times]
