Moneycontrol Provides Financial Information To Hutch Subscribers

Web18’s financial news portal Moneycontrol.com has tied up with mobile operator Hutch to provide stock market related information, reports the Hindu. They’ve launched six packages, priced between Rs. 25 - Rs. 40 per month, providing information on local and global markets, as well as specific sectors. For Moneycontrol, this just repackaging and distribution of their content. I’m not sure, but has anyone implemented mobile alerts for investors, wherein they can receive an SMS when a particular stock reaches a certain level...sometime like a stop-loss alert?
