Myntra Designs Gets Seed Funding From Erasmic Venture Fund

Myntra Designs, an online marketplace for on-demand consumer products has received seed funding from Erasmic Venture Fund and a few angel investors. The amount of funding has not been disclosed. The company allows users to create personlized gift items like t-shirts, mugs, calendars, key-chains etc. The site was launched in beta in May this year. The funds, as per the release, will be used for scaling up operations, marketing (of course) and procuring technology for on-demand printing. Sasha Mirchandani of the Mumbai Angels has joined Myntra’s board, and Erasmic has nominated a member as well.
Earlier this year, Google (NSDQ: GOOG) had invested in Erasmic, which focuses on Bangalore based startups. Other startups funded by Erasmic include HolidayIQ and Position2.
