NDTV Puts Feature Content On Rajshri.com

By Nikhil Pahwa - Tue 26 Jun 2007 08:29 PM PST

It’s interesting that NDTV that put their shows up at Rajshri.com: unlike Zoom and ZEE, NDTV does have video content on their site. So, while one can assume that Zoom and in particular ZEE are testing the waters with Rajshri.com because launching their own broadband portals NDTV sees the site as another distribution channel for its content. Another thing that weighs down media companies from launching their own video portals with their entire content online is that they already have licensed their content for distribution overseas, and making the content available free online effectively makes those deals irrelevant. So until the license agreements expire and are not renewed, it will always be some shows available online, or content at a price. For Rajshri, the more content they get on board, the better - that means increasing viewership and hence safety.

Currently, NDTV shows on Rajshri.com include India Questions, Walk the Talk, Jai Jawan, Gustakhi Maaf and Boss’ Day Out.

Interesting stuff happening on the broadband portals NDTV joining hand with rajshri good ppl have started to understand the meaning of internet but yet if a channel plans to have 25000 users in the europe but have never been able to get them coz content is available free and approximately a 15000 to 25000 thousands hits are available on the pirated sites

For eg MAMTA 25 june http://www.youshare.com/view.php?file=Mamta_25thJune_apnicommunity.wmv

Kasmhe se - 25 th june episode

    http://www.zshare.net/video/2430965aaae84a//

hmmmmmmm the revenue loss to the content owner is huge

but the content owner should provide content to various portals thats wat i feel and who is the nest would survive at the end of the day

and yes CONTENT IS NOT KING
