By Nikhil Pahwa - Mon 11 Feb 2008 11:19 PM PST

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has announced the launch of its global mobile advertising network, Nokia Media Network, which includes over 70 top tier publishers and operators as well as its own media properties. Nokia has already done some campaigns for Paramount and BMW, and claims a potential consumer reach of some 100 million customers, and click-through rates averaging 10 percent in certain channels. It’s using Enpocket’s analytics to optimize campaigns and for measurement; Nokia acquired Enpocket in October 2007. For the network, Nokia has expanded its account management and media sales team to include 17 offices worldwide, including Mumbai. More in the release.

Apart from that, Nokia has integrated its content sharing service Twango, which it acquired last year for around $100 million, into Ovi, renaming Twango “Share on Ovi”. Meanwhile, on the now-off-now-on N-Gage has invited users of its N81 phones to download a pre-release version of the N-Gage app and start buying and using games on their phones. The new platform was supposed to launch late last year but has been delayed till now. [via MocoNews].
