By Nikhil Pahwa - Thu 21 Jun 2007 11:08 AM PST

Nokia is expanding its mobile search offering to include local search, which will be launched during the third quarter of 2007. Among the content providers for local search is Infomedia for India. In all, Nokia Mobile Search has over twenty five content providers across the world. [via release]

Nokia has some screenshots of the local search here. Now, by the looks of it, no one has an exclusive deal for content with Infomedia, and the same local content is being distributed across several partners - STAR, for the mobile application PLUS; Guruji, which is a local search engine with a mobile service that hasn’t yet been launched and now Nokia.
