A sound recording generally comprises various rights. It is necessary to obtain the licences from each and every right owner in the sound recording. This would ,inter alia, include the producer of the sound recording, the lyricist who wrote the lyrics, and the musician who composed the music

    no, it is not neccessary to actually take licences from each and every right owner, actually the right owners are part of a music company, who finally produced that song or movie or what soever.
    what you have to do is take the license from that music co. & pay him ne royalty, if asked and start using for which purpose, the same has been told to the music company.
