People Group Launch Online Ad Network

People Group, which includes web properties Shaadi, Makaan and Fropper.com besides mVAS company Mauj, has launched an ad network called ‘People Online’ that aims to target South Asian users in the UK. Brand Republic reports the network will represent a number of Asian websites and will have its own sales team.

    The network hasn’t been ‘launched’ - its been around for a while. One of People’s senior management was in London and she just casually mentioned it - you have just picked that up—(link?)

    So Sequoia Capital funded Interactive Avenues launched an Ad Network called Ad Magnet. And now Sequoia Capital funded People Network launches an Ad Network. How can they be ok with such stuff hapenning?
