Rediff Expands Mobile Search To Include Caller Ringback Tones

Well, it’s about time this happened - caller ring-back tones (CRBT) account for a fairly large portion of music sold on the mobile and so Rediff has expanded its mobile search to include CRBTs, reports Tech 2. Users can now search for CRBTs from mobile operators including Airtel, BPL, Idea, Hutch and Reliance Communications. Earlier, their search was limited to ringtones. Songs can be searched by song, artist, movie or tags, and the results display cost details, as well as instructions on how to install them.

As per the Rediff earnings call transcript, their Job search offers 100,000 jobs, Ringtone search has over 60,000 ringtones and book search has now over 1 million books to choose from.
