Rediff follows Gmail, Yahoo; Integrates IM Into Email

India’s leading web based email service, Rediff (NSDQ: REDF)mail, will now have RediffBol, Rediff’s instant messenger tool, inbuilt into the email. [via agencyfaqs] About time, I would say. Google (NSDQ: GOOG) did it to Gmail in February 2006, Yahoo! (NSDQ: YHOO) followed suit with Yahoo! Mail a year later, and AOL (NYSE: TWX) integrated its instant messenger (IM) with AOL Mail in June 2007.
RediffBol can be triggered from a new micro-window within the email. RediffBol includes a feature that lets users set their status message or even be invisible while chatting.
