Reliance Entertainment Rebrands BigFlicks As BigFlix

By Nikhil Pahwa - Wed 21 May 2008 07:07 AM PST

I’d gone to a Reliance WebWorld to pay the bill for my data card connection today, and noticed a BigFlicks shop-in-shop store, so took a photo (pictured above). It’s taking up quite a bit of space - they could comfortably fit around a 4 PC console there and still have space. I also noticed that the business is being re-branded as BigFlix - phonetically it’s still the same, but the spelling change is intrigues me...why the change? It isn’t cool enough to use the correct spelling anymore? They own both domains - BigFlicks.com and BigFlix.com.
