By Rafat Ali - Fri 01 Feb 2008 11:49 AM PST

[by Cerius Shah] Reliable sources have confirmed news of Reuters (NSDQ: RTRSY) exiting TimesNow, we had covered speculation on the same previously. Reuters held a 26 per cent stake in the Times Global Broadcasting Ltd. Sources indicate that Times has bought back stake, now holding 100% of the entity. Sunil Lulla, who recently announced his departure, will be replaced by ex-India TV CEO Chintamani Rao. As an aside, Lulla will mostly be heading for the soon to be launched GEC from the Turner and Miditech JV and will be also holding stake in the entity.
