Skype Eyes Indian Talent Amid Manpower Crunch

Internet telephony company Skype is facing a manpower crunch because of the tiny population of its home base Estonia and could approach its government to allow them to employ talent from countries like India. [via Mint]
Skype, which was bought by eBay in 2005, says it has been lobbying with the Estonian government to relax hiring laws. Estonia has a gross domestic product annual growth rate of 11.4%, but the economy has started to cool for a variety of reasons including labour shortages.
