Tech Mahindra In Talks To Host Content For FIFA And BCCI…Not CanvasM?

BSE listed Tech Mahindra is in talks to host football content on the mobile for Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), and cricket content for the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), reports Business Standard. Tech Mahindra already handles content for Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), uploading live results, statistics and video clips.
I’ve seen some of the UEFA video clips...Cricket is going to be a difficult game to repurpose for the mobile since the Cricket ball is smaller. I wonder why Tech Mahindra - and not CanvasM - is bidding for this contract. CanvasM is Tech Mahindra’s JV with Motorola for mobile content solutions. The JV was done after the deal with UEFA was closed, and it was expected that all future mobile related bids would be from CanvasM.
