TinselVision Adds UTV Content To Library

Online video content startup Tinselvision has inked a deal with UTV, by virtue of which it gets access to UTVs theatrical titles like Life In A Metro, Chup Chup Ke, Swades, among others. The movies will be available for streaming and pay-per-view. As per the release, Tinselvision is also set to launch a community site around their content, called ChannelMine. Tinselvision removed geo-blocking restrictions for India on May 1st, thus allowing Indian viewers access to licensed content from STAR TV, Zoom TV, Yash Raj Films, Shemaroo, Zee TV, among others.

Cerius Adds: This just in, NDTV has signed up for distributing TV content as well, the deal to be announced soon, will include content from NDTV Imagine besides the regular news and features fare.
