Unlocked iPhone Available In Mumbai For $1300?

Tech2 claims that Apple’s (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone is available in the Mumbai gray market for Rs. 52,000 (around $1300). I searched for the iPhone in Delhi last week, all I found was the “iMobile” (in pic, more here). Will try again today, on my back from the IAMAI Digital Marketing Conference.

I think you should search for it in HeeraPanna, near Haji Ali, Mumbai. You wont be disappointed.

iPhone is available with me in Delhi, India, limited stock.

These are Unlocked to work with all GSM Operators (Airtel, Hutch, Idea, MTNL, BSNL etc.)

1) Iphone 4GB version shall cost Rs.24,990
2) Iphone 8GB shall cost Rs.32,650.

Add Rs.450 for Blue Dart shipping anywhere within India. Phone will ship from Delhi.

Pls note that there is US State Tax + FedEx shipping charge + Customs duties involved on top of the US retail price of the iPhone, hence the price is what it is by the time it lands in India.

Iphone unlocked is very easily available in gaffaar market in Delhi for 34000/-.

I have heard that once you connect an unlocked iphone to the apple server, it get locked again and then its very tough to open it. Has anyone faced such an issue? I have heard several such cases from ebay buyers in US.
