WatchIndia Launches News, Entertainment Channels Web Site For NRIs

Ethnic Internet TV company WatchIndia launched its Web site, allowing non resident Indians access to Bollywood movies and channels such as Zoom, Times Now, Aastha, IOL, Zee TV, and Zee Sports. [via release]Subscribers in the United States and Canada can also watch news and entertainment channels via its Video On Demand service or download it. There is also the WatchIndia library, which allows users to view past programming on-demand for up to 2 weeks for all 6 channels for no additional fee.
Rafat’s prayers have surely been answered with the proliferation of such sites. [see related links] I don’t think I had such a wide variety of choices during my stint in the United States until last year.
