Zee Channels To Be Broadcast In 20 Countries In Africa

By Nikhil Pahwa - Mon 18 Dec 2006 07:34 PM PST

Media Overseas, a subsidiary of the Canal+ group will be broadcasting Zee TV, Zee Cinema and Zee Music in more than 20 countries in Africa, reports moneycontrol.com. The channels will have french subtitles, and that will open new markets, according to CEO (International Business) Dheeraj Kapuria. I’m wondering why Zee isn’t looking at targeting the expatriate community via online broadcasts, like SET is at Jump TV
