Apple Launches A Slew Of Products In Indian Market

Apple has launched its best selling iPods in Indian market at “Indian” prices. The 1 GB iPod nano will cost Rs 9,700, while the iPod Shuffle , a flash memory media player, will be available for Rs 4,600 (512MB) and Rs 6,500 (1GB).
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing, said: -€œNow everyone can afford an iPod nano, with our new 1GB model starting at just Rs.9,700.-€ The products will be still be costlier than the dollar prices in the US.
Apple has also announced the launch of iLife ‘06, a suite of digital lifestyle applications such as iPhoto 6, iMovie HD 6, iDVD 6, and GarageBand 3, a podcasting solution. It has also released other hardware products like the MacBook Pro, the MacMini, Apple Hi-Fi system and the Apple iPod Radio Remote.
