Bharti Hires Honchos For IPTV Services

The Economic Times: Bharti Tele-Ventures is expanding its broadband and data services like IPTV in a big way. Infotel, an arm of Bharti Tele-Ventures providing broadband, fixed-line, long distance and enterprise services has hired some nine top executives into its fold to cater to its new products like IPTV services. The new hires include Akshay Kumar, ex-Standard Chartered Bank honcho from Singapore, who has joined as chief marketing officer, broadband and telephone services. N Shekhar, previously with Coca Cola India, has joined as CFO, Airtel Enterprise Services (AES).
