Dish TV Ties Up With Buena Vista Apac For Movies On Demand

After tying up with Buena Vista International Television - Asia Pacific to bring ABC News Now to India via DTH, Dish TV has also signed a deal with them for Movies on Demand, reports Business Standard. The movies will have a 24 hour time limit, and will be priced at Rs.50 per movie. The movie can be ordered on phone, online or via SMS. It seems that the movies will be made available within 5-10 minutes of ordering.
I’m wondering if this is an exclusive deal, or is Buena Vista open to deals with other operators as well. Buena Vista distributes movies from Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, DisneyToon Studios, Touchstone Television, Miramax Films, Pixar Animation Studios, so thats a fairly large number of studios.
