India Today Group Hires HT’s Sanjay Bahadur For Newspaper Project

India Today group is pushing ahead with its morning daily plans. The Delhi-based media group has hired Sanjay Bahadur as Associate Publisher for its newspaper project. He was a VP-Media Marketing with Hindustan Times. Bahadur will report to Ashish Bagga, CEO, India Today Group. Bahadur has earlier worked with The Times of India, Business Standard and media sales company MediaScope. [Via Exchange4Media.com]

A welcome move from the ‘India today’ group. Whether the paper will be launched only in Delhi first and in other cities later, A burgeoning economy will absorbe anything that comes from a reputed organisation.
