Indian Express Group is busy striking international strategic partnership deals. Close on the heels of a wide ranging content tie-up with The Economist, Indian Express has now formed a strategic partnership with the US-based information-technology media company TechTarget.
Beginning first quarter of 2007, the Indian Express Group will publish local editions of TechTarget’s quarterly print media—Storage, Information Security and CIO Decisions magazines. They will have content addressing local, regional and global IT topics. Besides, the two companies will also launch an India-focused website in 2007, which is the first in a proposed network of niche websites targeting specific communities of Indian IT professionals.
The website will provide original news and features, expert advice, and other information in the form of white papers, industry analysis, market studies and product knowledge, said a statement. For websites, they will follow an ROI-based advertising model. Besides, TechTarget will work with the Indian Express Group to produce local conferences and events.
TechTarget has similar global partnerships such as Saga Technologies (Bulgaria); China Byte (China); Agepe (Italy); New Era (Taiwan); Softbank (Japan); InfoThe (South Korea); and Kunzer (Spain).
Indian Express already publish a couple of IT publications like Express Computer and Network magazines. [Release here]
