MTV Asia And Motorola Launch Mobbed, A Digital Entertainment Platform For Youth

MTV Networks Asia and Motorola have launched a digital entertainment platform Mobbed, which will be targeting youth in Asia-Pacific markets like India, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Mobbed features free downloads, contest, games and blogs. Mobbed, the on-air show, will be fronted by local MTV VJs.
“Mobbed reinforces MTV’s commitment to connect with our audience on every platform possible,” says MTV Networks Asia Pacific president Nigel Robbins, adding that they will be creating their own and branded content, besides allowing user-generated content.
