Exchang4media.com: Mumbai-based Mid Day Multimedia is going beyond Mumbai with its highly popular afternooner. The company is celebrating its 27th anniversary with the launch of its Bangalore edition on June 27. Simultaneously, the group is launching its e-paper on Tuesday. Mid Day Bangalore will be priced at Rs 2 compared to the Mumbai edition, which is priced at Rs 3. The access to e-paper will be free, while the revenues are expected to trickle in from advertising initially. E-paper will have the Mumbai edition first, and then Bangalore.

leading newspaper reported about corrupt motor licensing officer, Delhi. It is well kown fact that bribe is being taken all over the coruntry while issuing motor licence. Mere tarketing corrupt officers is not the solution to end corruption while issuing licence. The system needs to be targeted to reduce corruption. It is seen that in many place like Ratnagiri Dist. there is no place where licence forms are issued or bank where licence charges can be paid. A person is forced to go to a agent which has contact with the licensing officer and bribes are paid through him even for an issue of learning licence. To reduce corruption the govt should make all the licence forms available in post office which should have a list attach showning the licence amount for different catogories of licences which can be paid in any bank in that area. By reducing corruption in this area will also reduce the road accident as many licence are issued to persons who does not know the rules and regulation about road traffice and many times who does not also know how to drive properly.
