Rediff Starts Its Own Developer Program

Developer programs are flavor of the month with online media companies, and now Rediff has opened up its platform to developers...to incentivize developers, it is offering several grants of Rs. 250,000 for app ideas. Some more details on it on Pluggd.in, here.

    @ Manu J: By ensuring that RBML is exactly same as FBML Rediff has ensured that all the facebook apps will run on Rediff own platform .  Creating an entirely new language would have been suicide. A nice way to go smile

    I agree with SK. They have stated they are compatible with Facebook. It makes sense to have a ready market of 24,000 odd apps that can be plugged onto rediff. Why re-invent the wheel?
    Facebook is an SN site rediff is a portal. They’ve stated about opening up content as well which makes it innovative enuff for a lesser mortal like me. Lets not start knocking them already. So much for the indian pride!
