Suresh Productions Buys 35% In FXLabs For $3 Million

Business Standard: Hyderabad-based Suresh Productions, a telugu film production house which is a part of Rama Naidu Studios, has bought a 35 per cent stake in game development and production services provider, FXLabs Studios, for $3 million. Tony Garcia, chief executive officer of FXLabs, said: “This partnership with Suresh Productions will not only bring in the necessary funding for us but also bring forth properties from the film world which can be developed into games.”
The company will look at the films of ther producers too for game development. FXLabs is looking to ramp up its staff from 87 now to 200 by year end. FXLabs is already into the production of video games like ‘Inferno’ (for PC) and ‘Archie’s Riverdale Run’ (for both PC and Xbox).
